I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #120455), Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) Practitioner, Community Resilience Model (CRM) teacher, and lover of movement, play, and expressive art.  I was called to this work by way of my first career in performing arts, a trauma, and my own search for healing, self-discovery, and meaning.

My academic training and therapeutic philosophies are firmly rooted in depth, humanistic, and somatic psychology traditions. I believe therapy can help us explore and unravel old and outdated patterns, learn to engage more authentically with our Self and the world around us, and create space and freedom in our psyche from which we can make clearer choices. It can help us integrate lost, forgotten or split-off parts of body, mind, and soul to bring healing and wholeness.

I work eclectically, meaning that I pull from many therapeutic models in order to support each person in reaching their unique therapeutic goals, whether those are to alleviate symptoms, work on improving relationships, or embark on the journey of self-discovery. I work with adults, adolescents, children, toddlers and families on many issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss/grief, creative quandaries, communication, attachment issues, and life transitions (including changes in life/career path, life stages, birth, adoption, divorce, blending families).

Below you can find more information on my experience and areas of special interest. Give me a call if you would like to schedule a consultation.
